Ronald Clay

Ronald Lee Clay, 70, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, formerly of Rivervale, Arkansas departed this life Friday, August 7, 2020 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  He was born July 19, 1950 in Dyess, Arkansas to Henry Carroll “H.C.” and Alice Marie Erwin Clay.

Ronnie was a member of the Rivervale Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and was former owner of his own fish dock in Rivervale. Ronnie enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, an avid Arkansas Razorbacks fan and served his country with honor in the U.S. Navy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother: Gordon Clay and one sister: Suzzie Michael.

Ronnie is survived by one daughter: Jodiee Dawn Grubbs (Daniel) of Black Oak, Arkansas, two brothers: Jimmy Clay of Lincoln Park, Maryland and Donald Clay (Rebecca Denise) of Caraway, Arkansas, two sisters: Doris Radloff of Dickieville, Wisconsin and Shirley Kausler (Jerry) of Marion, Arkansas and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at 7:15 pm and visitation will be held from 6:30 pm until service time at Rivervale Baptist Church.
