Robert Phillips

Robert “Bobby” Phillips passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born on July 1, 1932 to Frank and Lois Miller Phillips.

Bobby was a Korean War Veteran, retired from Ritter Lumber Company, member of The United Methodist Church in Marked Tree and a member of Rotary, American Legion and VFW-Lepanto.  He loved to hunt, fish and was an avid golfer for many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter: Terry Walker, son: Donald Blagg, sister: Suzie Phillips and brother: Johnny Phillips.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 46 years: Edith Phillips of Marked Tree, three sons: Michael (Stacey) Blagg of Marked Tree, Jerry (Jackie) Phillips of Marked Tree and Scott Phillips of Marked Tree, daughter-in-law: Lou Ann Blagg of Marked Tree, two brothers: Paul Phillips of Marked Tree and Tommy Phillips of Pea Ridge, sister: Faye Nolen of Marked Tree, ten grandchildren: Candi, Lindsey, Ashley, Donald Max, Courtney, Karmyn, Samantha, Jerry, Brianna and Braden,  fourteen great-grandchildren: Blake, Gavin, Harley, Megan, Morgan, Nikki, Hayley, Tatum, Grayson, Elena, Mackenley, Kentley, Finn and Grant.

Pallbearers are Blake Daniels, Brad Daniels, Derik Drewitt, Braden Francis, Gavin Lowry and Jerry Phillips, Jr.  Honorary Pallbearers are Buddy Lovell, Lawrence Ashlock and golfing buddies from Three Rivers Country Club.

Services will be officiated by Bro. Rick Kimery.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 30, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 2:00pm at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree.

Interment will follow at Marked Tree Cemetery.

Lindsey, Chris and I are so sorry about your grandfather. We didnt know him but it sounds as if he was a great man who loved his family very much. Our thoughts and prayerd are with you and the rest of your family as you go through this time of sorrow. May your grandfather fly high over the mountains and watch over yall daily.
