John Story

John Wayne Story, 67, of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life on Friday, March 13, 2020 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  He was born on June 9, 1952 to Sam, Sr. and Linda Fay Stone Story.  He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed gardening, music, baseball, football and The Razorbacks.  He loved his Beagle, Susie.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

John is survived by one son: Chad Story of Greenville, Mississippi, 2 daughters: Wendy and Holly Story of Greenville, Mississippi, 2 brothers: Sam Story, Jr. of Lepanto, Arkansas and Jerry Story (Shirley) of Fitzgerald, Georgia, 2 sisters: Paula Gonzales (Mike) and Kelley Jewell (Mitchell) of Lepanto, Arkansas, six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 16, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. and visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. til service time at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home, Lepanto, Arkansas.

Interment will follow service at Potter Memorial Cemetery, Lepanto, Arkansas
