Edward Eugene Nash

Edward Eugene “Eddie” Nash, 76, of Payneway, Arkansas., departed this life on March 18, 2020.  He was born on January 1, 1944 to Franklin Eugene and Susie Hunter Nash.  He was a member of Corners Chapel Baptist Church in Payneway, Arkansas. He assisted with the Arkansas Baptist Disaster Relief and loved walking his dog, Shue.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother: Dennis Nash and his Border Collie Dog: Dolly.

Eddie is survived by his wife of 55 years: Nell Nash of the home, 1 son: Eddie Nash, Jr. of Payneway, Arkansas, 1 sister: Brenda Nash of West Memphis, Arkansas, 1 grandchild: Matt Nash (Brittnay) of Harrisburg, Arkansas and 1 great grandchild: Colt Nash of Harrisburg, Arkansas.

Services will be announced at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Corners Chapel Baptist Church.


Eddie was a great blessing to know. He always asked how we were doing when we were together doing DR. I was greatly saddened to hear of his passing. I am sure he is missed by many family and friends.

Im saddened to see this loss. My classmates father who I love dearly like a brother. And his wife, Nell who has inspired me my entire life growing up in a small town. I have so much respect for Eddie, Jr and Nell. I want to hug them both tight with a prayer going to Jesus. Im very sorry and Im praying for you both plus the furr baby. Eddie, You will be missed. I remember you always being there for the family. I remember your thoughtful words while memorializing your brother. I remember your crazy humor. May God bless you, Nell, your best pal Shue, your extended family of neighbors and church members. Rest in Peace.
